Cost-effective Care

Like most private physician practices, WNY Immediate Care requires payment at the time of service. Fees vary depending on the level of service provided. We accept most major insurance plans.

We Accept Highmark BCBS

If you’ve received a letter stating Western New York Immediate Care will no longer accept Highmark BCBS as of February, this was sent in error. We are contracted with Highmark BCBS and will continue to accept patients with Highmark BCBS. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Western New York Immediate Care accepts most major insurance plans, including Highmark BCBS. With competitive and affordable pricing, we are cost-effective healthcare when you need it.

At the time of service, patients are required to pay the urgent care co-pay as determined by their insurance carrier (usually $25 – $75). This co-pay is typically substantially less than that charged by hospital emergency departments.

High Deductible

Many patients with high deductible plans are choosing urgent care for their healthcare needs. We help provide you a lower cost of care option without compromising quality. For patients with high deductible plans we require a pre-payment deposit. If deductible requirements have been satisfied, with verification from the insurance company, only the co-pay determined by your insurance carrier is required.

Medicare

We participate with Medicare Part B and various Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called “Part C” or “MA Plans,” that are offered by private companies. If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan or a secondary plan and your insurance card says “Medicare,” Federal law provides for you to be seen at any emergency room or qualified urgent care center.

A pre-payment of $150 is required from every patient who maintains membership in a non-participating insurance plan. We will “courtesy bill” all plans, meaning we will submit the claim on the patient’s behalf, and the insurance company may reimburse the patient depending on his or her contracted plan.

Self Pay

A pre-payment deposit is required from every patient who presents to WNY Immediate Care without valid health insurance coverage, is otherwise a non-insured private pay patient, or maintains a high deductible insurance plan.
